Tamarind is a pod-like fruit that is used in a lot of Thai cooking and Southeast Asian cooking. This Wet Tamarind is made from 100% fresh sour tamarind, nothing added. It's seedless.
To use it just get the desire amount, put it in a small bowl and cover with warm water. Squeeze the wet tamarind with your fingers or spoon until the liquid turns thick paste like. Discard the pulps and now your tamarind sauce is ready to use. Sour tamarind sauce is an essential ingredients in Thai cooking such as Pad Thai, soups, and sauces. The paste can be used in drinks as well.
