Tom Yum soup It is easy to make. We highly recommend adding shrimps as your protein. Shrimp is the most commonly used for this dish (hence the name "Tom Yum Goong" meaning "Shrimp Tom Yum Soup". Seafood such as fish, calms, squid, mussels are also excellent choices. If you are allergic to seafood, you can add chicken, but do not use pork or beef. Along with the protein of your choice, you may add mushrooms, vegetables, or tofu.
Tom Yum is often served with rice, but you can also enjoy it with egg noodles, rice noodles, ramen, udon, or even pasta. The spice level of this Tom Yum Soup is medium level. If you prefer less spicy, add small amount of the chili paste until your desire spicy level or add more water.
