The Old Mill's Stroopwafels are baked according to the traditional recipe which originates from the city of Gouda, where Stroopwafels were first baked in early 1800s. They taste best when warmed up over a cup of coffee or tea and allow the waffle to warm up a bit just enough to soften the caramel syrup filling. You can also put in a microwave for about 10 seconds.
