Tradition Matcha Green Tea Powder is made from 100% pure green tea leaves. All natural no preservatives or colors added. The tea powder is rich in green tea polyphenois, catechins, chlorophyll, vitamins C,E, B1, B2, carotene & protein. The health benefits of matcha tea exceed those of green tea because when you drink matcha, you ingest the whole leaf, not just the brewed water. One glass of matcha is equivalent to 10 glasses of green tea in terms of nutritional value and antioxidant content.
There are different grades of Matcha powder. This Tradition Green Tea is a drinking- and cooking-grade.
Just add hot water or cold water, stir, and serve! Milk, honey, sugar, and ice can be added to taste. One bag will make about 120-125 cups by using 2 g of tea/400 cc of water. The green tea powder is also perfect for making ice cream, smoothies, Matcha Green Tea Latte, Frappe, and more. It can also be used as a baking ingredient, such as cakes, cupcakes, cookies, etc.
